Richard started his golf career here at MMGC in 1996 as an Assistant Golf Professional. In 2002 Richard was promoted to the position of Head Golf Professional and has continued to this day.
Richard is a Graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program at Lethbridge College. Richard has always had a passion for teaching the game and has continued to educate himself attending various PGA conferences earning the CPGA level II Certification.
Richard is a very experienced Club Fitter and is a member of the exclusive Henry-Griffitts Fitting and Teaching Certification program. Richard has used this base knowledge and continues to attend and learn from Manufacturers such as Ping, Taylor Made, Titleist, and Callaway.

Tristan Grieve

Tristan is in his fourth season as a McKenzie Meadows Golf Professional, coming to MMGC from the Carlton Golf and and Yacht Club in Ottawa in 2019.
Tristan has a BSC in Geology from Athabaska University. He is an entrepreneur and has a passion for business and sports. This is likely what has led him back to the game of golf.
He brings a wealth of knowledge gained from his experiences, whether it be business or golf related and we are happy to have him on the team.
Though Tristan is focused heavily on the business of golf, he enjoys teaching and playing golf as much as possible. -
Connor Epping
PGA Canada Apprentice Professional
- Born and raised in Ancaster Ontario, a small town located in the outskirts of Hamilton.
- Grew up caddying at the historic Hamilton Golf and Country Club (Host of 6 Canadian Opens)
- Attended Humber College for Professional Golf Management.
- Professional Playing experience on Great Lakes Tour, Toronto Players Tour, West Florida Golf Tour, Minor League Golf Tour and various other Mini Tours across the U.S and Canada.
- Certified Fitting Specialist with Titleist, Ping, and Callaway.
- Played Jr. Hockey in Ontario until the age of 21.
Connor is going into his 5th season as a Golf Professional and first with McKenzie Meadows after recently moving to Calgary from Southern Ontario. He fell in love with the game at a very young age absorbing his Fathers passion and love for Golf. He considered his Father his greatest friend and mentor supporting Connor in every aspect of his playing and teaching career.
Connor looks to bring this Knowledge and passion to McKenzie Meadows to help grow his student’s desire and willingness to get better. Making their time at the golf course much more enjoyable and fun.
From Full swing to short game, and putting, all levels of golfers can trust that choosing to work with Connor will leave them excited and motivated for what their future in golf holds.

Fitforegolf focuses on golf injury and prevention topics such as golfers back, rotator cuff tears, golfers & tennis elbow injuries , hip replacement rehab, the aging senior swing & the female golfer differences.
- Accomplished teacher who has helped numerous students receive golf scholarships & has coached a few provincial champions.
- Former Head Golf Professional at Cottonwood G&CC & Redwood Meadows G&CC.
